One of the Northwest’s brightest rising stars, Parisalexa (aka Paris Alexa Williams) is headlining The Lot Summer Music Festival Sunday August 15th along the Willamette River in Portland. The barely-23-year-old from Seattle has a new hit single just out, has toured all over the West Coast, and seems far wiser than her years.
“I’ve always known what I wanted to do,” Paris told PRP DJ Veronica Bisesti in a recent interview. “Thankfully, my life and experiences have taken me down the right path – because really there’s no rule book for all this stuff.” This “stuff” includes composing songs throughout her teen years, placing second in Sound Off! (Seattle’s Museum of Popular Culture – MoPOP – competition for artists under 21), and touring the West Coast with Portland’s own Blossom and Philadelphia rapper Ivy Sole, in a “triple threat” reviewers called a tour de force.
