Children’s Institute’s CEO Kali Thorne Ladd chatted with PRP for our latest episode of Community Voices to let our listeners know what this wonderful organization works toward and about their upcoming 20th anniversary luncheon.

Working passionately since 2003 to improve outcomes for Oregon’s kids, Children’s Institute knows that a brighter future for our state rests on a foundation of love and care for every child and family.

To celebrate and honor the last two decades of progress in early childhood and share in a collective vision for the future, for young children and for families in Oregon, CI is having a luncheon on October 19th at the Portland Art Museum.  Champions for Children – 20 Years of Impact is open to all and will feature a special early childhood panel moderated by New York Times journalist Nicholas Kristof.

Listen to our interview with Kali (below ⬇️) and find out how you can support CI’s work to improve the lives of children from prenatal to grade 5 who experience institutional or systemic barriers to opportunity in Oregon.
