Greater Greater Portland

2nd & 3rd Sundays at 4pm

Greater Greater Portland (GGP) is the newest addition to PRP’s Podcast Co-op, diving deep into the issues involving the Portland Metro Region. Housing costs have spiked, homelessness has risen, transportation has become a headache, and there is a general discomfort about the physical and political state of the city. At a time when the future of Oregon’s flagship metropolis seems uncertain, it’s time to have honest conversations about what’s working and isn’t, what our home should look like –and most importantly– how to get there.

The creation of architecture and urban planning student Xavier D. Stickler, transportation & housing activist Bradley Bondy, and multimedia journalist and PRP volunteer Jenna Deml, Greater Greater Portland seeks to establish a common space to bring into focus an ambitious vision for the future. One based around livability and sustainability for not just Portland-proper, but the region as a whole. Focusing on transportation, housing, homelessness, and the good governance it will take to achieve and maintain this brighter future, GGP will feature guests and change-makers from around the region undertaking the important work of shaping our next great chapter.

Researched, written and hosted by Xavier D. Stickler and Bradley Bondy, Greater Greater Portland is a production of Portland Radio Project, with producer, editor, and co-host Jenna Deml.
