A new generation of Portland musicians will take the stage this week. First stop: Luke Neill‘s Sounds of PDX show Tuesday night on Portland Radio Project, then it’s on to a bigger stage.

Refining skill and proficiency as musicians, School of Rock Portland (SOR) emphasizes a team approach and transfer of skills from lesson room to on-stage performance. So, this is a big week for the House Band from SOR. They “open” for Blitzen Trapper at Portland Center Stage at The Armory.

To celebrate the unique rock musical “Wild and Reckless,” which tells the tale of the wooly PDX band, Portland Radio Project, The Armory, Blitzen Trapper and SOR have joined forces in a series of fortunate events, and you are invited!

Here’s the schedule:

Tuesday, April 4, on PRP.fm Sounds of PDX, SOR House Band performs live, 7:00 pm (Listen at 99.1 FM in the heart of Portland, or stream here) Note: Two pairs of “Wild and Reckless” tickets will be given away via text-to-win on air.
