Did you get a robocall from Cover Oregon over the weekend? If so, it could mean your application won’t be processed in time for health coverage Jan. 1. Brent Hunsberger reports for the Oregonian that pre-recorded calls went out saying, “If you haven’t heard from us by Dec. 23, it is unlikely your application will be processed for Jan. 1 insurance coverage…If you want to be sure you have insurance coverage starting Jan. 1, you have other options.” The calls indicate continuing concern about possible gaps in coverage, although the exchange expects to continue processing applications through Dec. 27 (except for Christmas Day).
