A Salem-area real estate broker is entering the governor’s race as an outsider. “I’m a working stiff like everybody else,” says Bruce Cuff – but he has ideas for how Oregon could save money and improve schools. Harry Esteve reports for the The Oregonian on the latest Republican to enter the race. State Representative Dennis Richardson of Central Point, and a Sherman County rancher, John Justesen, have also thrown their hats in the ring to take on incumbent Governor John Kitzhaber – who’ll try for an unprecedented fourth term.
