The Sellwood Bridge is open for Tuesday morning’s commute, two days ahead of schedule. The bridge is still under major reconstruction, and its temporary span closed Saturday for crews to place a set of steel piles on the west end of the new bridge. The piles support the walls of what will be the new interchange with Highway 43.
