On the latest Drop-In Session, Asia Wagner spoke with a few members of the Portland indie R&B/dream pop band Night Heron.

Asia talked with vocalist and guitar player Cameron Spies, as well as vocalists and synth players Grace Bugby and Andy Lawson. They chatted about the band’s background, their recent album release, new music video, as well as upcoming live show at the LOT at Zidell Yards.

The band kept busy during the pandemic finishing their debut, full-length album Instructions for the Night, which came out on May 14th. The record offers ten beautiful, dreamy tracks, exploring love, relationships, and the ups and downs of the daily grind. The release is a perfect antidote for the times and is available on all streaming services as well as through Literal Gold Records.

They also recently released a very whimsical, dreamy music video for one of their song – Dreamz. The video was a collaboration between the band and La Musa Fea Productions and was shot in Mexico. You can watch it here.
