With my immense passion for community radio, independent artists, and a constant thirst for new music, I found myself right at home at Portland Radio Project. I am a true believer that great music transcends genres, and I am constantly humbled by the sheer vastness of its world.
Growing up in Poland, my musical taste formed in the early nineties with influences from bands like Depeche Mode, Everything but The Girl, Massive Attack, and Portishead, just to name a few. Playing piano did not stick, but throwing rave parties in my dad’s warehouse and frequently attending local music events did.
While my thirst for new sounds greatly expanded my musical horizons, I have always been a beat lover at the core.
I curate music for our daytime program Fresh Vibe (M-F 10 am to 6 pm) and utilize my background in business to assist Portland Radio Project with marketing. I also produce Culture Hub PDX podcast and host a weekly electronic music show beat | side. Tune in every Monday at 8:00 PM to hear the best in downtempo, trip-hop, lo-fi, nu-jazz, drum’n’bass and more.
Outside of PRP, I am pursuing Music Supervision certificate through Berklee Online and frequently chase after fuzzy yellow ball on courts all over town with my three favorite humans.
