Singer, songwriter, poet and award winning actor Lo Steele dropped by Sounds of PDX for our latest Drop-In Session; we were treated to a couple of live tunes – “Give Yourself Grace” and “Insecurities” – and so much more.

Lo, daughter of Portland’s first lady of blues LaRhonda Steele, has a busy summer ahead – we’re thankful we got the chance to sit down and chat about what’s to come.

With the help of chosen family and friends, there is a new album coming out in August – stay tuned to Lo’s Instagram for a release date.  And if you are quick to grab yourself tickets, an opportunity to see Lo at the Waterfront Blues Festival as well as the Cathedral Park Jazz Festival.
