Three little cougar cubs are snug at the Oregon Zoo after hunters killed their mother near Baker City.  It was a mistake, according to the Baker City Herald – and the hunter followed her tracks and found the babies (kittens).

The Oregon Zoo has taken in quite a few cougar cubs it seems, and found homes for them – sometimes at a zoo that cares for cougar cubs in North Carolina. Newschannel 8 has a cute video of the two-week-old cub chirping.
