At the core of B Local PDX lies connection and collaboration knowing that purpose and values matter in business.

Board Chair Kel Moody and Administrative Director Wes Griffin spoke with PRP about the B Local PDX mission to “…help business people act on their purpose to achieve socio-economic and environmental impact through meaningful relationships.”

In collaboration with over 150 local B Corps in Oregon and SW Washington, B Local PDX is committed to using “…business as a force for good” to help build a tenable and conscientious local economy.

With their upcoming B Corp Leadership Development Pacific Northwest (BLD PNW) Conference – a one-day event organized by B Corps, for B Corps – they are providing an educational and inspiring opportunity for like-minded individuals and B Corps to share in this movement.

If you’d like to learn more about how, and more importantly why, to become B Corp certified or what’s in store at the BLD PNW event on October 6, take a listen to our Community Voices segment below.
