Just in time for Fathers Day, Oregon’s famous wandering gray wolf, known as OR-7, is now a Dad. State wildlife biologists say the five year old wolf has fathered at least two wolf pups and there may be more. According to the website WolfCountry.net, usually four to six pups are born in a litter although the photos taken earlier this week show just two of them peaking out of their den. The pups mark the first known wolf reproduction in the Oregon Cascades since the mid-1940s.
