Single-game playoff tickets for the Timbers upcoming match went on sale. Fans waited outside the JELD-WEN Field box office to buy some of the 2,000 tickets for sale.

The Timbers finished the regular season at No. 1 in the Western Conference and qualified for the playoffs for the first time since entering Major League Soccer.

Ticket prices for the playoff match started at about $30. Fans could only purchase a maximum of four at a time, and there was no guarantee that seats would be next to each other.

Megan Whitaker is a Timbers fan who waited inline for over eight hours. She’s expecting the environment to be phenomenal.

Hopin’ to make it able to see history happen,” Whitaker says.

The Timbers’ playoff match is scheduled to be on November 7.
