It’s no longer the House of Pane: The Portland Timbers have announced their stadium is no longer Jeld-Wen Field. It’s now Providence Park. In a press conference yesterday, Timbers owner Merritt Paulson announced the new partnership with Providence Health & Services, which also covers the women’s soccer team, the Portland Thorns FC. As part of a recent renovation of the Park, Providence opened a 12,000 square foot sports medicine facility. Jeld-Wen, the Oregon-based window and door manufacturer, sponsored the club its first three seasons.
