Three Days of Rain, Portland Center Stage’s finale production of their 2014-15 season, has been drawing rave reviews and wildly enthusiastic audiences.
Two of Three Days’ cast members, Silas Weir Mitchell and Sasha Roiz, have a high national broadcast profile. The actors are featured cast members of the NBC hit series GRIMM, which is filmed here in Portland.
While theatergoers have been enjoying the Pulitzer Prize-nominated play, and the performances (Weir Mitchell and Roiz are joined on stage by the very talented Lisa Datz), the invisible backstage world (people and technology that make the production possible) continues to revolve, virtually unnoticed by theatergoers.
For insight into what goes on behind the scenes, we visited with Liam Kaas-Lentz, Stage Manager of Three Days of Rain. Our interview was recorded in his dimly-lit command center, high above the PCS stage.
Three Days of Rain continues at PCS through June 21. For ticket info, click here.
