Easyfolk Fest is Thursday, August 8th to Saturday, August 10th at Portland Playhouse. Over those three evenings, you will immerse yourself in a diverse array of musical styles, from introspective singer-songwriter performances and atmospheric folk harmonies to heartfelt Americana and swanky pop. You will enjoy ethereal storytelling, poignant modern folk, and high-energy progressive bluegrass. Count us in!

Joe Sanchez, founder of Easyfolk Media and the heart & soul behind these three magical nights, dropped by Sounds of PDX – and brought with him local Folk/Americana duo The Parnells – to talk all things Easyfolk Fest.

Corey and Whitney Parnell (performing night two of EFF) treated us to two LIVE tunes – “Will We or Won’t We” & “Peanut Butter Cups” – and we learned how Joe’s desire to find community lead him to create the Easyfolk community. 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

Take a listen to our interview ⬇️ – we also heard tracks from fellow EFF performers Sage Christie (night two) and Wren the Band (night three) – and then grab your tickets to this three-evening experience.

This Drop-in Session was made possible in part by grants from the Oregon Cultural Trust, RACC and The Marie Lamfrom Charitable Foundation.
