Friday October 21st, Michele Van Kleef and Gina DeNoble graced Cafe Artichoke with their voices and story-telling.  We spent our first rainy evening of the season in awe of these two talented ladies.

Our PRP and Artichoke Music curated series Listen Up! focuses on female PNW singer/songwriters and empowering their voices.   In between tunes, both Michele and Gina spoke of their creative processes and how each song carries with it a personal story.  Whether they were reflecting upon lost loves, musical muses or the pain of domestic abuse, both performers left a little bit of themselves up on that stage.

Our next Listen Up! evening at Artichoke Music is Friday November 11th and will feature Sasa Fox and Eugenia Riot. Tickets are always $15 and available at Artichoke Music.
