We’re counting down to the 2014 Safeway Waterfront Blues Festival with Portland Boogie Cat Norman Sylvester!
Sunday morning, July 6, Norman will take the Front Porch Stage, which doubles as finish line for the inaugural Red, White and Blues 5K/10K Run & Walk.
Say organizers:
“The creators of the Mother of All Relays, Hood to Coast, have combined forces with the Waterfront Blues Festival to bring runners and walkers the Inaugural 2014 Red, White, and Blues 5K/10K. This exciting inaugural event starts and finishes in Tom McCall Waterfront Park as part of the festivities of the Waterfront Blues Festival.
Listen to world class blues music as you cross the finish line. This one-of-a-kind Portland run/walk crosses over two downtown Portland bridges and has continuous views of the Willamette River.”
$10 of every registration benefits the Oregon Food Bank. Registration is now open.
As we reported Tuesday, the Blues Fest lineup has changed. Here’s a link to the full schedule.
