Have you lost or misplaced a large amount of money? And did you lose that large amount of money, let’s say at the Lloyd Center around noontime Thursday? Well someone did, and thanks to a very honest unidentified woman the money was handed over to Portland Police and now they’re trying to find out who lost it.
Anyone who contacts the police hoping to claim the “significant sum” of money will have to know a few things. Callers will be asked to identify the amount and denomination of the money, as well as where the money was lost.
This isn’t the first time a large amount of money has been turned in. Last month three thousand dollars was brought in by a Good Samaritan with the owner eventually claiming the money.
Update: As of 5:30 p.m. on 5/8, no one has claimed the cash.
