Here’s something that might surprise you. Oregonians are just like Texans. Hold on to your hat and let me clarify that statement.
When it comes to the choice of staying or leaving the state where they live, people in Oregon and Texas are happy where they are, thank you very much.
Several other states share that same loyalty. People in Maine, Montana, Hawaii and New Hampshire wouldn’t pull up roots if given the chance to leave their beloved home state. The findings are from a 50 state Gallup poll conducted at the end of 2013.
