It’s no secret we here at Portland Radio Project love to support our local arts & culture community – we play a local musician every 15 minutes for starters. But sometimes we like to show our fellow supporters a little love too – and we did just that on Sounds of PDX!

Dan Cable and Michelle Kicherer joined us in the PRP studio to discuss their respective projects.  Both of these powerhouses created platforms to support our Portland arts & culture scene in unique and much appreciated ways.

Dan’s hosted “Dan Cable Presents” for 8 years and released his 400th episode…WOW!   This podcast offers listeners (and now watchers, check him out on YouTube) an opportunity to do a deep dive into some of our favorite and up-and-coming local musicians.

Michelle decided to take the variety show route and thus was born “The Banana Pitch”, a monthly curated show, interview series, artist showcase and more!
