A snowball fight has led to an unfortunate penalty for a University of Oregon football player: Pharaoh Brown will miss the Alamo Bowl.
Students, exuberant over the snowfall, pelted cars with snowballs Friday – and apparently got carried away.
A video posted on YouTube shows one driver getting out of his car to confront a student and then getting pelted with snowballs.
Newschannel 8 reports university police and the Dean of Students said they watched the video in order to identify students involved when the melee turned dangerous.
UO starter Pharaoh Brown was among those involved and he was suspended Monday. Others may face disciplinary action as well.
Brown apologized Monday afternoon.
