The second annual Sing to Feed will take place at The Historic Old Church on Saturday, Dec. 7 at 6 p.m. This year, they’re stripping down the concept and going “sponsor free” so they can focus on the music, and more importantly, our community.

Once again, the Sing to Feed performance benefits the Portland Police Bureau Sunshine Division. Join Redwood Son, Naomi LaViolette, and the Sing to Feed Choir for an evening of music and giving. You are invited to bring nonperishable food items to donate! You’re welcome to contribute monetarily as well. Volunteers will be on hand to accept cash, check, or card. However you’re moved to give, even if it’s just your ticket price, it’s greatly appreciated!

The Way to a “Faraway City”

Naomi LaViolette leads the way to a “Faraway City”, one of her beautiful newest songs. Redwood Son’s Josh Malm contributes on the interplay. There’s still time for rehearsals and finding the sonic way ahead of the show. This little excursion was captured live on 12.2.13 at Portland’s Mountain Air Studios.
