PRP Volunteer Spotlight featuring Brooke Carlson

Meet Brooke Carlson, host of Petit Dejeuner Club here at PRP. Brooke started volunteering with the station in the summer of 2021 when she moved to Portland and heard PRP for the first time the old-school way, on the dial.

Brooke’s show focuses on international and foreign language music, diving into genres like French ye-ye, Japanese City Pop, Cambodian psychedelic rock, you name it.

Her favorite part of volunteering for the station is the freedom allowed to share all styles and genres of music with our listeners.

When she’s not at the station, you can find Brooke enjoying live music at one of our many awesome music venues in Portland, trying new food, or out in the woods somewhere.
