Taking Refuge in Adventure
Brianna Blackbird and Drew de Man brought their adventurous spirit to our studios this morning. Full disclosure. Robert and I are heartfelt fans of Pretend Sweethearts. There are many reasons beyond a love for the music being created. In part, it’s their activism. Not just in social and political causes. And there are those. Many of the songs are created out in spirit of message. But it’s more an active involvement in their lives and surroundings, and being vulnerable to whatever might come. Now, there’s an addiction I can embrace! By the way. My takeaway just now? Name change in the making!
