Cardioid is the musical project of singer, songwriter, guitarist, keys player, chef and human, Lizzy Ellison. She spent a generous hour and a half with me at the Portland Radio Project studios to talk about her new home in L.A., her creative process and what inspires her. She had some very heartfelt thoughts about the current political climate, and what difference she hopes she and others can make. Listeners learned of her deep love of Dolly, and how Jeff Buckley was part of a life-changing moment in her musical journey.

Cardioid is playing their last show for a while in Portland Sunday, August 27, 2017, and you won’t want to miss it!
