PRP’s RM Parish caught Joseph live at the Doug Fir last week. Here are his impressions of their performance.

For those of you who have gotten stuck in a loop, doubling and tripling your Garage Band/Pro Tools voice in hopes of creating that perfect harmonic you once touched during your eighth-grade Christmas concert, STOP IT! Go hear it actualized out loud by Joseph. These three beautiful and talented sisters will make your arm hair stand up through a set filled with meaning.

As they closed their performance at the Doug Fir, Joseph celebrated the hope of their family and their gift, singing perfectly and poignantly telling the crowd “to burn up the despair that’s been sinking (you).” Despair burnt! Seeing Joseph is kinda’ like if Cat Power was triplets and left the audience and stage empowered and happy instead of defeated and crying. ~ RM Parish
