It may be the awesome combination of three strong names or the French blood that’s driving Eric John Kaiser to be one of Portland’s hardest working musicians!

Born and raised in the suburbs of Paris, Eric established a name for himself in France before moving to Portland in 2006. Since then, he’s been everywhere around town, putting his all into the creative expressions of his heart.

Last Saturday night (Feb. 22), he hosted a live recording of his own original material in NE Portland at Magnolias Corner. His set included the live rendition of his original track, “Home!” featured as a local spin on the PRP stream. Also, before covering one of their songs, he mentioned Portland’s band “Pink Martini” being well known in France, sparking his interest to move to the city.

Eric has recorded three full-length albums: “L’ODyssée”, “French Troubadour” & “Dehors c’est l’Amérique (Outside, it’s America)”

Along with three EPs: “Portland Rendez-Vous”, “1+1=Freedom” & “Le Pari (The Bet)”

He’s known for being a great part of the local music community by supporting other musicians as well as contributing his own art into the mix of the awesome Portland collective! It’s our pleasure to have him and his music a part of Portland Radio Project.
