Three environmental groups are mulling an appeal of a decision in their case against the Port of Vancouver. The groups brought suit against the Port for allegedly violating state environmental and open meeting laws. A judge decided partly in favor of the Port on Friday. The Columbian reports the judge ruled that the Port did not violate state law when it approved a lease to build a new oil terminal before an environmental impact statement was finished.
