Suffragette Songs PNW – a celebration of female voices – hit the McMenamins Kennedy School stage on March 8th (International Women’s Day). The night featured an eclectic mix of five female solo artists and a female folk trio, all from the Pacific Northwest.  We were fortunate enough to have The Cider Janes drop by the PRP studio to chat about the event and play a couple of tunes live on Sounds of PDX.

If you missed the live performances on March 8th, fear not, you can hear a couple live Cider Janes tunes in our interview below and can of course check out where to catch a future performance from Yawa, Rosa Linda, Marianna Thielen, Naomi LaViolette, and Kathryn Claire by clicking on their name.

This Drop-in Session was made possible in part by grants from the Oregon Cultural Trust, RACC and The Marie Lamfrom Charitable Foundation.
