Portland bands Starover Blue and Young Elk have supported each other’s successes for years. It’s now culminating in an upcoming dual album release show this week.

Kendall Sallay, Starover Blue’s lead singer and guitarist, as well as Young Elk’s Zeke Rudick stopped by Theme for a Tuesday to share what it took to release their respective albums and some secrets to the lasting friendship between the two artists.

We also heard live in-studio performances of “Larkspur” off Starover Blue’s new album Little Glimmer, and as well as the title track from Young Elk’s new release, “Calm Down” and “Fist Fight.”
