Sarah Arslanian and Eileen Cowen of the delightful country-folk lady duo Introducing the Machine from Vancouver, WA dropped by Portland Radio Project this week to chat with No Dudes Radio Hour! about feminism, the wisdom in hilarity, and the machine.
Though Sarah and Eileen have been playing music separately their whole lives and have known each other twelve years, they only united as Introducing the Machine two years ago, releasing their debut album Women of a Certain Age in 2024. Their second EP is set to be released on vinyl this Spring through Ronald Records, with new singles coming out individually over the coming months.
Check out the interview to learn the background story of the machine, hear why these ladies wear matching outfits and perform improvised dances at grocery stores, listen to the premiere of their latest single “Broken One” (officially released January 31st, heard first on No Dudes!), and make sure to follow their YouTube channel and Instagram page for further endless entertainment!
Introducing the Machine will be playing the L.A. Fire Benefit Show at Brickhouse Bar and Grill in Vancouver on January 31st alongside 20 other bands. Show starts at 6PM!
And if you’re in need of a no dudes kind of Valentine’s Day this year, make sure to grab your lady pals and head over to Ronald Records on February 15th for Introducing the Machine’s annual Galentine’s Day show!
