Drop-In Session with High Glow

We sat down with Andrea, Tyler and new drummer Zak of the local band High Glow for Sounds of PDX – with their new album “Unlikely Futures” in tow and a busy couple weeks with upcoming shows, we were stoked to have them in the PRP studio!

Quite likely to bring on a “euphoric buzz” (IYKYK ⬇️), this eight song album “Unlikely Futures” is a stellar collection of rockin’ tunes – during our drop-in session, we heard “Paradiso” & “The Gamble” (no relation to Kenny Rogers 😂) and learned how “controlled chaos…with a bow on it” has become the signature sound for High Glow.

They’ll be performing August 1st at Femme Fatale Fest, a benefit concert to raise money for Rose Haven PDX AND hitting the Star Theater stage on August 8th.

If you love good compilation album (and honestly, who doesn’t?), you’ll be happy to know High Glow is on TWO upcoming gems – Tell Your Friends Vol 1: Bleeding Roses Records and PDX Pop Now Vol 22.

As for “Unlikely Futures”, you can pick that up – ON VINYL 🤩 – at your fav local record shop. And should you be traveling by plane anytime soon, you can also grab it at both the SeaTac and PDX Tender Loving Empire shops.
