Easyfolk Festival – August 7th thru the 9th at Portland Playhouse – is a genre-blurring, community-rooted music festival that celebrates the richness, range, and soul of Portland’s local music scene. From modern folk and heartfelt Americana to atmospheric harmonies, soulful balladry, and swanky pop, these four musical showcases (yes that’s right, four) are a must attend!

Two of this year’s performers – the amazing duo of Adam & Rio also known as River Tramps and singer/songwriter Scott Erdy – dropped by Sounds of PDX to play a couple live tunes EACH and chat up all things Easyfolk.

This is the second year for the festival and one big change is the addition of a matinee showcase (on Saturday August 9), making for FOUR unique musical experiences.
