Federale has new music…have you ordered your copy of “Reverb & Seduction” yet?

The six-piece ensemble based out of Portland, spearheaded and fronted by Collin Hegna, have embarked on a darker sound for their sixth studio album. Collin dropped by the PRP studio on Sounds of PDX for an in-depth look at & listen to “Reverb & Seduction”, the latest on his producing work and what’s to come for the band. We may have talked about cats too.

Take a listen to our interview below – we heard tracks from the new album as well as a tune from Jenny Don’t and the Spurs (whom Collin produces music for).  With producing credits like Jenny, The Shivas and Roselit Bone under his belt along with various scores for film soundtracks, we’re amazed Collin had the time (and energy) to create what we think is Federale’s best album yet.   “Reverb & Seduction” is available for pre-order and will be released on July 12th.

If you missed Federale’s show at The Coffin Club on May 5th, fear not!  You can catch them at Mississippi Studios on July 12th – it’s their album release gig!

And if you’re into books, head over to Powell’s Books on July 3rd.  Collin will be there along with pal and Brian Jonestown Massacre bandmate Joel Gion for a conversation about “In the Jingle Jangle Jungle” – a new memoir penned by Joel about his early experiences in BJM. Sure to be a juicy read and convo!
