It was a double drop-in session for our latest Sounds of PDX – live in the studio with new music, tales from the road and the recording studio, singer/songwriters and label mates Berkley (AKA Andy) and Sam Weber joined us for a jam packed session.

Big Secret Records is the current home to both Berkley and Sam’s music – Andy started BSR in 2021 (Bob Cummins Jr is also on the label) with the hope of creating a space for our incredible songwriter scene to get their work into the ears and souls of the community at large.

Sam’s new album, which just came out last month, is called Shape Confused Cowboy Be You while Berkley has been releasing monthly singles from his upcoming July release Vaquero. Both are available on their respective Bandcamps and the BSR website.

A truly fun chat with two exceptionally talented dudes who graciously regaled us with live performances of their latest tunes and loads of insights as to what makes them tick as artists and how some questionable on stage moments have shaped them as performers (you’re gonna have to listen below for that juicy gossip 😉).
