The dysfunctional Cover Oregon website is undergoing tests to see whether it will ever work. The Oregonian reports if the online health insurance exchange isn’t up and running by April 1st, the state may have to fall back on another exchange, either the federal one or possibly Washington state’s successful exchange.
Over the weekend the Oregonian outlined all the warnings top Cover Oregon officials got that the website wasn’t just unprepared for its October opening–it was a technological disaster. The first warnings date to November, 2011.
