Recording artist Courtney Noe joins us on this episode of Sounds of PDX to talk about her creative process, thoughts on the Portland music scene, and her unique blending of music and fashion.
These days Portland isn’t known for its pop music scene but with emerging artists like Courtney that could all change. Our PDX Spotlight Playlist highlighted Courtney’s influences from her early days growing up on the Oregon coast to current influences. My cohost, Jen Emerson discussed the importance of collaboration and her production relationship with another Portland recording artist, Ashley Xtina.
It was an absolute pleasure to have Courtney on the show. Be sure to click and follow her on Facebook for upcoming releases and events!

At my core, I am a musician, songwriter, producer, studio owner/engineer, and, most importantly, a lover of all things music. It is my goal to help connect listeners to local artists. I believe we should all be searching for the next thing that inspires us.
I am originally from Arizona, where over many years, I played in several different independent bands in the Phoenix and Tucson areas. I put in many, many hours of grassroots-style promotion in order to get my bands heard. I am excited to be a part of Portland Radio Project where I can provide an avenue to local Portland musicians to share their art.
