Community Voices: Red Door Project

Red Door Project is the latest featured nonprofit in our Community Voices series and proudly our Old Moody neighbor. This award-winning organization uses “…the transformative power of storytelling to challenge, connect, and co-create the world we all want to live in.”

At the heart of Red Door Project is The Evolve Experience – “…live and filmed first-person narratives from police officers, judges, and Black community members describing their lived experiences at the intersection of race and the justice system.”

Kevin Jones (Artistic Director, CEO and Co-Founder) and Leslie Mones (Curriculum Director and Co-Founder) took time out of their Evolve Experience rehearsal schedule to give our PRP listeners a glimpse into how Red Door Project was created and the evolution of the stories being told.
