Café au Play is a nonprofit coffeehouse as well as a community center with activities for children, caregivers, and the community. And it’s more than just a meeting place for a latte or a good cup of coffee. Café au Play offers a free Barista Training Program that gives students the opportunity to develop job skills and learn how to work in the café industry.
Café au Play’s community involvement doesn’t end there. Soon they’ll be unveiling Night Grounds Coffee House, a place where teenagers and young adults can gather allowing participants of the Barista Training Program to practice their skills.
For more information about Café au Play’s Barista Training Program and hours of operation visit their website.
