Last April, in recognition of Autism Awareness Month, Jonathan sat down and talked with us about how his Asperger’s diagnosis changed his life and inspired him to become an activist in the autism community.

Last year, Jonathan’s was invited to present at a TEDx event in Salem. The You Tube video of his 12-minute presentation has attracted a huge virtual audience.

Jonathan’s wit and wisdom is also featured in the upcoming documentary, AUTISM…INSIGHT FROM INSIDE. In the 30-minute program, which will air on public television later this year, Jonathan shares the screen with two of the heavyweights in the autism education world, Temple Grandin and Stephen Shore.

Jonathan, along with hundreds of other local autism activists and families will be participating in the Autism Society of Oregon’s 13th Annual Autism Walk, which takes place on Sunday, April 19, 2015 at Oaks Park in Portland. The fun starts at 9:00 a.m. Rides open at 11:30 a.m. Click here for more info.
