Anyone who loves the outdoors in Oregon has quite a dilemma this weekend. They may have to choose between a day of fun at a state park , a hike on a favorite trail, or free fishing. Whatever your choice the weather should be great for all three.

June 7 is State Parks Day and that means camping at all of Oregon’s state parks with tent and RV sites is free.

Also on Saturday, it’s National Trails Day. The U.S. Forest Service is waiving the usual $5 parking fee at places where it’s normally required. And because it’s Free Fishing Weekend no fishing licenses or tags are required to reel in fish on June 7 and 8. (Restrictions on how many fish you catch, and what kind, still apply.)

And if fishing isn’t your thing, head to the coast for some crabbing. Shellfish licenses have been waived for this weekend as well.
