Update: The 2013 edition of Filmed by Bike is over but mark your calendar for 2014 related events. The submission deadline for filmmakers is January 20, 2014. The festival will take place in April 2014.
Are you a fan of bikes? Of film? Don’t miss the 11th Annual Filmed by Bike, a showcase of the best bike movies from around the world April 20-23 at the Clinton Street Theater. The opening day features the New Belgium Street Fest in the middle of Clinton Street. There is live entertainment, a beer garden, a video storytelling booth, a photo booth and a gigantic bike parking arena.
Thirty-eight films run in four distinct programs over the course of three days. 40 percent of the submissions are from Portland.
Filmmakers from around the country will answer audience questions at filmmaker Q+A sessions on Sunday following the 5 and 7pm showtimes.

Tickets and a schedule can be found at FilmedByBike.org. Purchasing advance tickets is recommended as some Saturday showtimes will sell out. A festival pass for only $25 grants unlimited entry to the festival.
