The NW Ciderfest will celebrate cider, and those who create cider, at a family-friendly event on October 11, 2014.
NW Ciderfest, at Pioneer Courthouse Square in downtown Portland, will feature 24 cideries, as a fundraiser for the local Muscular Dystrophy Association.

One featured cidery, Swift Cider, was named for the Vaux’s swifts that inhabit the chimney at Chapman Elementary school in Portland. Tasty Tuesday guest, Aidan Currie, and his business partner, Jeremy Kwit, started Swift Cider in 2011.
