If you’re among the ten percent of Starbucks customers who pays for your grande half-caff soy milk hazelnut moccachino with a mobile app, you can tip your barista on it too starting next week. The Associated Press says tipping arrives on iPhones March 19th.
If you forget to tip when your barista hands over the caffeine, you’ve got a two-hour window to add 50 cents, a dollar or two dollars to your purchase. But will your particular regular barista get your particular tip? The AP says customarily Starbucks managers pool all tips and divvy them out at the end of the week, whether they’re cash or cybercash.
