Berahmand and MOGO 2017 on Sounds of PDX

Just weeks before MOGO Music Fest 2017, recording artist, Berahmand was kind enough to drop by and give us a nice recap of his recent regional shows, a visit to NAMM, and what it takes to captivate a live audience.

The majority of this evening’s PDX Spotlight playlist featured original tracks by Berahmand and also highlighted two other MOGO artists, ADDverse Effects and Goldfoot. ADDverse, Goldfoot and Berahmand all played the 2015 MOGO Music Fest and once again shared the stage at The Doug Fir Lounge on the first night of MOGO 2017. Some highlights from our broadcast were Berahmand’s stories about NAMM 2017 and his recent partnership with Heartbreaker Guitars. To hear all the details and insight click the link below!

I host "Sounds of PDX" every Tuesday from 7-9pm.

At my core, I am a musician, songwriter, producer, studio owner/engineer, and, most importantly, a lover of all things music. It is my goal to help connect listeners to local artists. I believe we should all be searching for the next thing that inspires us.

I am originally from Arizona, where over many years, I played in several different independent bands in the Phoenix and Tucson areas. I put in many, many hours of grassroots-style promotion in order to get my bands heard. I am excited to be a part of Portland Radio Project where I can provide an avenue to local Portland musicians to share their art.
