Several Portland Radio Project staffers were in the house at The Spare Room Lounge in NE Portland on Sunday, September 20, 2015, to help one of our most talented advocates, Norman Sylvester, “The Northwest Boogie Cat” celebrate a milestone birthday.
The party was a few days late. Norman’s actual birthday was September 16, a birthday he shares with BB King, who would have turned 90 this year.
We caught up with Norman prior to the celebration for a brief conversation. Listen here.
Happy Birthday Norman! Thanks for all you’ve done for Portland Radio Project. We love you!
