Host of Jonny’s Playlist
An Oregon native, Jonny got his start in radio as a student at the Oregon Institute of Technology in Klamath Falls. He was on air and involved himself behind the scenes assisting the station Engineer at the small, student-run college station, KTEC. Playing with the equipment was nice but being live, on-air, playing music was the real kick, an easy way to burn off stress.
To pay the bills, he works as a software engineer for a company based out of the Columbia Gorge. Outside of work and radio he enjoys running, hiking, camping, biking, a kid-free night out with the Missus, and a Saturday night movie fest at home with the family.
Though he has always been a fan of Indie music, it had mostly taken the back burner as career and family ramped up. Until now. With his new show Jonny’s Playlist on PRP, Jonny’s back!
