Cynthia Orlando grew up in Southern California where both her parents were musicians and her father ran a music school. While attending forestry school at Humboldt State University she started reviewing music for an entertainment publication, “Northcoast View.” She got into the habit again for Portland’s KINK-FM radio in 2009, writing for announcer Dave Scott’s Blog. She’s written for Indie website Music Under Fire and has her own music blog.
Besides music and forestry, Cynthia’s other passions include landscaping, practicing REIKI and travel – especially in Europe. Her favorite live music venues have excellent sound systems and dark beer, and her favorite music-related fantasy is journeying to the Glastonbury Festival to cover the many great bands there.
When she’s not reviewing for PRP she’s on Twitter scouting around for the newest talent.
